|Subject:||Inspection Of Personal Lockers|
To establish guidelines and procedures relative to the biannual inspection of personal lockers to insure their cleanliness and proper maintenance.
A. Personal lockers for each member shall be inspected at least twice each year, in January and in July, or whenever deemed necessary by the Fire Chief or Deputy Fire Chief.
B. Locker inspections shall be conducted in conjunction with uniform and protective clothing inspections. (See l-IV-4)
C. Cleanliness and proper maintenance of assigned personal lockers shall be the basic criteria of the biannual inspection.
A. Personnel assigned a locker are responsible for the cleanliness and proper maintenance of their locker.
B. Fire Battalion Captains are responsible for notifying the personnel of their respective shift of the date of locker inspections.
C. Fire Battalion Chiefs shall be responsible for making the biannual locker inspections and shall report their inspection results in writing to the Deputy Fire Chief within five (5) days after the completion of said inspections.
