Secretary Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. proudly protects 2500 people living in an area of 20 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status.

The Secretary Volunteer Fire Company Incorporated was founded in February 1937, and is an all Volunteer Fire, EMS & Rescue Company. SVFD has 70 Active, Honorary, Life and Ladies Auxiliary members. Our Mission is to provide professional emergency service, fire prevention education, and emergency services awareness to the residents of Secretary Maryland and the surrounding areas.
